City of Oakland Public Art Program Call for Artists Los Angeles Metro Due: Monday, April 7, 2014 Request for Qualifications for Prequalified Artist Pool (2014) Metro invites visual artists residing in the United States to submit qualifications for possible inclusion in a Prequalified Artist Pool (Pool). The Pool will be used to select artists for a range of upcoming opportunities throughout the expanding Los Angeles Metro system, including 14 new Metro Rail stations and a variety of transit enhancement projects. Project budgets are anticipated to range from $50,000 to $1,000,000 depending on the artwork opportunity. Prior public art experience is not a requirement. The Pool will be active for a three year period.
