Hi all
I'm going to be in San Francisco between the 1st 5th September.
I'd like to drop in some time to meet some disaster radio folks, are there any events or times that are good?
(Off topic - If anyone can connect me with urban food growers in the area interested in tech/ robotics that would be great..)
Thanks
Sam
of coarse, i will not be assisting john in any way but thought you may want
to know he's still trying to make contact after being removed from the list

Subject: Can you tell me where I can buy a unit pre-built and ready to go
To: <sf99er(a)gmail.com>
We don't have the time to build any units before Burning man, as we want
to field test them in this environment.
A few of my friends have one, I'm just trying to get a few more to give it
a good shakedown.
I saw your reply on the mailing list, and figured you should know.
Regards
The Crunchman
I'm trying to secure about 3 disaster.radio LoRa devices to field test at
the upcoming Burning man festival. The area us huge, and normal walkie
talkies can only cover 1/4th the distance.
Does anyone know if anyone is planning to attend this event.
My intention is to log the field tests via video.
Several of my friends are loaning theirs to me for running field tests to
determine how well they work over a 5 km area.
I haven't seen anywhere where I can buy them, or even know how much they
cost.
Contact me directly at jdcrunchman at gmail dot com if you have any leads
on where I can get a few of them. Time is running short, the event is
only a few weeks away.
John
