for science!
Hey all!
A very late reminder that there will be a hack night for the mesh tonight
at Sudo Room starting at 7:30pm and going 'til we stop.
Come ready to work on something related to the project - we'll start with
brief updates on what we're working on, and check in toward the end to
ensure we've been good documentarians :)
I'll be working on the visual documentation for the upcoming Wireless
Summit, so designers / artsy sorts especially welcome!
Cheers,
Jenny

Hi all!
I'm headed to Berlin in a week, and to the Community Wireless Summit at the
beginning of October.
There's a documentation fair at the conference, and they'd like all
networks present to represent their group through a large poster and
additional media:
http://2013.wirelesssummit.org/content/please-bring-visual-media-display-co…
Anyone interested in designing some things for this? We'll be printing a
first batch of stickers this week based on Nic's design and our decision
last week to go with PeoplesOpen.Net as the network ssid (Marc will update
on that). It would also be great to mock up some outreach fliers and
somehow depict the vast amount of info available on our wiki (mindmap,
perhaps?)
Reply to this thread with your ideas!
Cheers,
Jenny

I'm presenting on a panel on Gender & Tech on Wednesday, and running a

Hi! We have a mesh hacknight tonight!
If you're totally new, read up on our current
ToDos<http://sudoroom.org/wiki/Mesh/ToDos>and generally peruse the
wiki <http://sudoroom.org/wiki/Mesh>.
*Work Meeting / Hacknight Format* [not relegated to technical work alone!
we need to hack community, politics, the planet writ large!]
1. Go around checking in on what each person's gotten done since the last
hacknight, what they're stuck on or need help with, and what they're aiming
to work on tonight.
2. Hack on each of our independent tasks, or split up into pairs / small
working groups as needed.
3. Brief check-in before leaving on what's been accomplished that night and
make sure everything's been documented on the wiki.
*Things to work on tonight:
*
-I'm not even going to.... ok. Decide on a name o.0
-Follow up from last week's awesome meeting with Guifi and Free Network
Foundation
-Firmware dev
-Admin interface
-Go through bylaws for 501c3
See you tonight!
