We could focus on something specific. Like internet to homeless encampments.
From the site:
We first started funding community Internet projects back in 2005, and
we’ve supported over 180 projects since then. These projects are planned
and brought to life by our members.
We’ve helped fund projects covering everything from education and
policy-making, from teaching technical skills to at-risk young people, to
helping local engineers deploy leading technology.
Examples of successful projects include:
- Helping our Uganda Chapter promote child online safety

- Supporting research, such as the CoMIQuaL, the Collaborative
Measurement of Internet Quality in Lebanon

- Helping to increase internet access for visually impaired people by
supporting our Armenian Chapter in creating an Internet Availability
Center
