peoplesopen.net is telling folks at Sudoroom to use 10.0.99.1 for DNS,
but that nameserver is not working. IP connectivity works but regular
users can't resolve names. Is this a nameserver that mesh controls?
Any way we can help? :)

Just so people know what's going on, 10.0.99.1 is the mesh address of
the peoplesopen.net AP in sudoroom. It is setup slightly differently
than the rest of the mesh APs. You can see the config here:

New subject: mesh at first friday?
Hi All,
I heard talk about running a mesh network at first friday, and mark said y'all were
planning to make it happen. He showed me the POE injector and I offered to make some
harnesses to go between a few small 3.5Ah UPS type batteries and the barrel jack (center
positive?) that plugs into the injector. Are y'all still thinking of doing this? I
would like to contribute to the effort however I can - there are 4x 3.5Ah lead acid
batteries and one larger deep cycle battery and I have 2 dinky wall chargers to top them
off. If 3.5Ah is not enough, I'll make the harnesses to use 2 batteries in parallel.
Anyway, I've been meaning to help out but haven't felt I know enough about
networking to contribute meaningfully, so if this type of low level hardware would be of
use for first friday I'll build tonight and bring to tomorrow's hack night for
testing.
