We’ve been watching him make this cushion over the past few weeks, and he’s happy! Now he knows how stuff is made and has a custom-made cushion that is just the right height for his laptop. The journey is the way.

Mochi Moments
Plus we don’t just hack and code, we actually eat real food too! Here someone brought homemade mochi, and someone at the Fix-It Clinic was repairing a pressure cooker. (Incidentally, there is an entire rabbit hole about the history of the pressure cooker in south and east Asia...!).
A Nerd Dad Invented the InstantPot
We like to discuss that the instant pot was invented by a laid-off BlackBerry engineer, Robert Wang, who wanted to make a better cooking pot for his kids too!
Everything is connected. It’s really nice just being able to get our hands dirty, and not have to be so much on screens all the time.
