Some Stuff We’ve Done

We’re very passionate about enabling women to do stuff in a fun environment. In the spirit of rails bridge, we had Women Who Code East Bay visit our hackerspace and they held workshop to get folks’ computers to install a local open-source generative AI image model stable diffusion on their laptops. Open source gives more control, and they were not automatically routed to commercial solutions. It was empowering and very fun for people of all levels!

Horror Algorithms

We have had a “horror theme” with a collaborative whiteboarding algorithms night, because what is more scary than being put on the spot and having to do a random leetcode without context in a job interview? Just kidding! We hope to make algorithms something you learn for fun and not just to score a job.
