In my effort to better understand kernel networking and babeld, I shared babeld-lab during last night mesh sesh (and got a bunch of help!): https://github.com/jhpoelen/babeld-lab The idea is that you can run a virtualized babel mesh on a linux and play around with it without jumping straight into messing with hardware. -jorrit
