Hello Meshers,
ITEM 1:
- -------
I have a High School Vice Principal interested on hearing about what
kind of technology presentation the SudoRoom and or SudoMesh could
present at his School.
The topic of Mesh wireless network sounded good to him, that said that
he would like to see if it is something that can be a Senior project
for next year.
Anyhow. I wanted to bring this news in person, but I feel a bit under
the weather, so I am most likely staying home tonight.
BTW, I was told that there is Science Teacher there that already has
two 3D printers going in his classroom, and that he is more into Open
Source. I showed him the Tuesday night calendar (3D class).
I will provide the VP's contact information, in private, to those who
will talk to him. I thought about Jennie and/or Marc.
Oh yes, The VP is also one of the Technology coordinators at his school.
ITEM 2:
- -------
The video. I am so far behind on the video. If one would like to know
my excuses, please let me know; I will send a file with the list. :)
I was wondering if we could have a slice on space on the new server,
with permissions/access for those working on it? Just a thought. So
that I can upload the video clips that we have selected so far or we
need to select from.
I personally would prefer to upload locally via Ethernet cable, to
keep things private. I'd suggest the same for the rest of us working
on it.
What do you think Jeremy? Juul?
Mesh the Planet! ...one School at the time! :)
Daniel

Hey Mesh folks,
I'm sorry that this is slightly last minute notice, but I'm going to be
at Sudo working on homeworks for the networking class and/or mesh
hacking at 6:30. If anyone else wants to join, we can do class review,
etc. If not, I promise I'll eventually forgive you all.
Have a meshy day,
Max
Anyone want to jump on this call this evening? I'm not available, but it
would be great to sync with this emerging mesh group in LA!

All,
I've seen several mentions of SDR based mesh here on the list.
Particularly from Marc Juul.
Is there any info on these efforts online somewhere?
I've been recently looking into purchasing 2 hackrf units and would
like to see what you guys have learned in regards to SDR/custom
protocols etc.
Thanks!

Greetings!
I work for a startup, Open Garden, that builds mobile mesh networking
technology (for sharing internet between mobile devices). We've held a
couple of community meetups so far, and this Wednesday we're trying out a
Lightning Talks model!
Come talk about a project you're working on and meet others developing
peer-to-peer technologies and services - or just come enjoy the 'beer
garden' and learn about some cool projects! Free.

I am far away (Globalize node on map near Piedmont) but high up. What rig
is recommended to connect into downtown?
Marc Juul, is this possible? What equipment do you recommend?
On a side note, I bumped into Alex Hagen of Etheric Networks at that EFF
event tonight an he was open to possibly donating bandwidth. I will follow
up and pester him about it.
