We are currently going through a time of change on the Bay Area Community Exchange Time Bank Project.
Time banks are an innovative way to create an alternative economy. Instead of cash we barter our time. Everyone’s time is equal, whether they are window washers, web developers or artists.
We pay into the community time bank and exchange services with each other.
Right now we’re going through a technical turning point. Do we continue as a time accounting system, or are we open to exploring new ideas based on how people who use the time bank actually use it?
