White priviege dissected will follow the showing of Cracking the Code at the Grand Lake Theater on November 8. We’ll do a section on the condition called The New Jim Crow, then brainstorm the major concerns and experiences of participants to be covered. They’ll be asked to notice as much as possible based on what they’ve learned and bring it back on the 25th.
Second meeting, precis of Oakland conditions and participants’ experiences in the interim. OPD, other black experiences will be presented by Black participants to open minds in learning what Black Americans deal with, and the resulting stresses in their lives.
