and if AC power to the box fails for some reason and the rest of the
building is still powered, we get notifications in IRC Chat so we know to
check on the door system and restore charging before the battery starts
going down.
A couple weeks ago PG&E cut off power around 7:30am and the battery
died within a couple hours. Nobody on IRC was paying attention. I had
to drive there and use a metal key.
