Sudo Room has been awarded a grant of $4,700 by Southern Exposure, an awesome Bay Area non-profit dedicated to supporting artists since 1974. We’re honored to receive this support, which has also been awarded to our neighbors, the Bay Area Public School.
Alternative Exposure supports independent, self-organizing artists and small groups that play a critical role in the Bay Area arts community. The grant is provided in large part by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, enabling them to grant $70,000 to 16 projects this year.

What will the money be used for?
The funds will go toward our standing funds, which should at all times consist of 3 months of rent and utilities. We remain by and large supported by member donations, and encourage folks to set up recurring monthly donations via the WePay button to the right, or small weekly donations via Gittip.
<3 Tons of gratitude and love bombs to SoEx from the whole Sudo community! <3
