Hey folks, we’re kicking off bike month. Go to the Bike East Bay kickoff party at the Berkeley Bart next April 29th from 4-7pm. They’re going to have free tune-ups, music and rad promotions on bicycling in the Bay Area. , then head on down to our Tuesday hardware hack night!
We’ll be planning more bike-related events and a salute to the honorable Major Taylor, an early African-American bicycle racer who overcame way too many problems with systematic racism. You see it was not just that he was an exceptional person who defied so many odds but also that he lived in a system built to make him fail.
