Clean Up @ DeFremery Park Party

Life is Living as a National Youth Speaks campaign kicked off in 2008 at Bobby Hutton aka Defremery Park to call attention to the blight and to highlight the possibility of West Oakland.

We NEED your help – Saturday morning april 20, 2013.

Our original intent was to restore life to a place that reflects neglect, limited public investment, and environmental decay. For the past 5 years we have held our Festival at Defremery despite the Gopher holes, thrashed fields and dried grass.

We have partnered with champions of the West Oakland community and Oakland at large to make this happen.

9:30 am – Community Clean up
