Hey just wanted to check in on how sudo mesh is coming along. Haven’t been able to reach out to some of you through emails but just wanted to drop in. I was wondering if there is any possible to get the node files or getting hold of a node. I work with ubiquity and I assume that that equipment gets reflashed or just the credentials to join the network.

Hello I am new in Oakland and was wondering how I could join as a node?

Don't know if I am posting to the right place. My name is Luna, and I am an It support contractor. I work a lot with ubiquity equipment, I have done PTP networks or Mesh networks for security camera systems. I have LTU Lite beam gen 2 AC, and already have a J mount on the roof of my house and I already am pretty high up and hopefully I am with in range.

wireless access point

Hi meshers, I'm trying to help a friend with his home network. He has his Sonic router upstairs and someone has run a cable from it to his kitchen (I've tested the cable and it's good). He has a wifi extender placed in the middle of the upstairs but the wifi signal downstairs is very weak. He has mobility challenges, so he prefers to work downstairs. My question is, what is the best device to plug into the kitchen ethernet cable that will deliver strong wifi to the downstairs area? I'm remembering back in the distant past there were Wireless Access Points made by Linksys that did that job. I don't see any around now. I'm also thinking about the routers used for the Sudomesh project that were configured to share some bandwidth publicly. I still have mine -- it is a MyNet N600. But it would need to be reconfigured for my friend's home network (it wouldn't be useful as part of the mesh being downstairs)? Have to admit I've forgotten everything I learned a few years ago about the mesh! :( The bandwidth he's getting from Sonic is only 48 mbps. antennas on omni roof?

Hi folks, we are doing roofing work at omni. Everything's getting coated with white elastomeric paint. But there's antennas with ethernet cord running every which way. Who's responsible for these? Is it ok to unplug them for a few days? Otherwise the cords are just going to be painted over in-place and stuck there forever. Semi-urgent as we'll probably need to decide by tomorrow.
