replying partialyl to myself, partially to jake below.. And if it wouldn't work to do a p2p link, how far can we get, and maybe find some allies on the way? (eg the apt bldg across the street that used to have gear?) Per gMaps it looks like a straight shot, however are there hills, tall buildings, trees, etc? Is there a way to ascertain this online? In the meantime, I just did a quick G street view, and it looks like the building right across on 47th and perhaps a billboard or 2 might be the only tall/blockers, I'm not sure what that means the options are, going in front, going over, otherwise? Hi friends! I hear the Omni's call for faster internet (Gigabit fiber!), and The Long Haul in Berkeley has fiber, and we have no budget to pay for it anymore. It's through LMI. Sudo Mesh still alive?

At the Omni delegates meeting earlier this evening, we noticed that we haven't seen anyone Sudo Mesh show up for quite a while now. Is the project still alive in some sense, or has it gone completely dormant now? At a minimum, we would need someone who is willing to be listed on official Omni documents as the designated "director" on behalf of Sudo Mesh on Omni's board. Alternatively, we could remove Sudo Mesh as one of the official designating organisations listed in Omni's bylaws. That kind of official stuff will wind up getting more important as we get closer to having to sign official documents relating to refinancing our loan etc. Is there anything we can do to help revitalize Sudo Mesh as well as Sudo Room itself? please help update our network page on the wiki

https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Network#LAN there's a lot of stuff on this page that's deprecated and doesn't exist anymore, please take a minute to go on there and remove anything you know doesn't exist anymore (or never did) I believe there's an entire subnet described 192.168. something thst'a not used at all. Everything is under 100.64.64.0/22 is it not? so yes, please please take some time to go in there and do some cleanup. Just stuff you know off the top of your head or can confirm. thank you! -jake
