Hey there,
The next Build Your Own Internet Office Hours* will be this Sunday from 1-3pm on Sunday at SudoRoom.
I'll be there and will be hacking on the Mozilla WINS Round II submission, doing whatever didn't get done from the hacking session on Saturday.
Look forward to seeing some of you then!

* What are BYOI office hours?
It serves two purposes:
1. A jumping off point for people interested helping with a scheduled Sunday node mount, but who are not able to attend a Tuesday night meeting or are not "in the know."
2. A friendly, non-confrontational time for new people to get oriented to the project or just ask general questions about networking, the internet, and their service provider.
We may also use the time to hold training sessions on a topic of choice, conduct outreach to potential node locations, address finances and purchasing, or tackle any other outstanding issues

Hello meshers,
I've just realized that it doesn't seem that anyone has emailed the list
about the meeting we're having today with our lawyer, Jesse, about our
legal options as far as compensating people for work they do with sudomesh.
Since we've received our grant from Mozilla, there is a push to pay some
people for their labor so we will be able to get more work done as far as
having a larger, more reliable network across more of the East Bay.
I realize this is late notice, but if anyone has questions they would like
answered about this process, reply to this thread and I'll address them in
the meeting, We are about to meet at 3PM in the office upstairs in the
mezzanine.

Hello mesh people!
The next Build Your Own Internet office hours* is this Sunday June 10th from 1pm to late afternoon in SudoRoom (https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Directions).
This week we'll be jamming on our submission to Round II of the Mozilla WINS Grant, which is due on 22 June (eek so soon!). We invite anyone with interest and ability to:
1) write descriptions of our "prototype",
2) write up good documentation about our software,
3) organize our code repositories,
4) plan out and record our demo video, or
5) add cool features to our website
There's a ton of work to be done so we'd love all the help we can get!
Look forward to seeing y'all then.

hi all,
I received an invitation to this event and wondered if someone from
SudoMesh would like to be a "featured attendee" (that option becomes
available after registering for the event)?
https://local.nten.org/events/details/nten-oakland-presents-donuts-dots#/
I'm not sufficiently in touch with current SudoMesh activities to do a good
job representing us.
cheers
Hilary

To: Battle of the Mesh Mailing List <battlemesh(a)ml.ninux.org>
Hi everyone,
We are just around the corner on having the LibreRouter with us!
In order to prepare for the imminent arrival, we prepared a report to
have you informed on how it will be and how you will be able to use it.
https://librerouter.org/media/librerouter-datasheet.pdf
We have also prepared a video to explain you how you can use it in your
communities: http://gg.gg/LR-video
Last but not least, we also want to ask you a few questions about how
you plan to use them in your communities. Please help us collect this
information, that will enable us to prepare for the public release of
the LibreRouter: http://gg.gg/LibreRouter-whowantsone
This same article can be found here: http://gg.gg/LR-whowantsone-article
Have I told you that is Open Source Software and Hardware?
You can check out the source at: http://github.com/libremesh/librerouter
That is all for now.
Don't hesitate on reaching out on any question that you might ask.
Regards,

Hallo!
Come by this Sunday, May 27th (i.e. tomorrow) at 1 pm in Sudo Room
for another BYOI Office Hours.
I'm personally looking forward to hearing about recent node mounts,
catching up with our exit nodes, drafting some interview questions (and
seeing who's willing to share their visions for and experiences with the
mesh), and thinking about maps.
Bring your projects, questions, and meshy vibes!
Hope to see you there,
Benny
