To: mail(a)kalx.berkeley.edu Hello, future KALX volunteer - The moment you've been waiting for has arrived - it's the KALX RADIO Summer 2013 Volunteer Recruitment!! Volunteer opportunities this summer are open to UC Berkeley students and all community members! Here are some of the SWEET things you get to do as a KALX volunteer: - Be a DJ! specializing in alternative music of every genre: rock, punk, electronica, jazz, funk, soul, blues, hip-hop, classical and more - Learn how to produce for radio! technical training as well as writing for and presenting informational programs: daily news, live Cal sports broadcasts, and a wide variety of Arts & Culture programming Join KALX now!! KALX Radio General Orientation will be taking place at the KALX station located at 26 Barrows Hall. You MUST attend General Orientation in order to volunteer at KALX.
