Last night I installed a mesh router, which has a "510pen - sudo room"
network. Up to sudoroom if you want to keep it here, but if so, the 510pen
mesh network is locked on channel 5 (so routers can easily find each
other). Therefore, to minimize interference, it would be good to set other
wireless routers to other non-overlapping channels, e.g. channel 11. Looks
like there is a router on channel 6 which would overlap and cause some
interference.
If sudoroom doesn't want to use this mesh router, that's fine, we can
easily find another home for it - just talk to me or email

For free browser-trusted SSL certs you can use http://www.startssl.com/ (only
works with firefox not chromium)
Each cert is good for one subdomain on the main domain, e.g.
www.sudoroom.org but there is no limit on number of free certs per domain.

Looks like space (192.168.0.3) is consuming 100% of our bandwidth. anyone
know what's up with that? if it's bit torrent can we cap it around 3 Mbit
to allow some wiggle room for user's connections?

Have we scheduled a good time to start transferring the site to the new
VPS? I don't think it will take long, but we should schedule the
transfer soon so we can save on the prorated server costs at Linode.
Once the transfer is complete, I'd like to replace Google analytics with
Piwik, get rid of 3rd party resources which can be used to track our
users page visits, and possibly installing mod_log_iphash or cryptolog
on the server to ensure the IP addresses on the logs are pseudononymous.

Does anyone know how new lists are created.
There seems to be a mysterious force that creates lists if enough people
say they want one. How is it done? Is it something one could do with ssh
access to sudoroom.org. Or is there a List Master on here that I should be
going through?
Thanks,
Andrew

So lack of IPv6 support totally escaped my mind when I put the current
firewall in. This isn't a huge roadblock currently but in the spirit of
move forward I have built a box with as many NICs as I can stuff into it
and am researching IPV6 capable firewall/router distros.
so far m0n0wall looks pretty good.
Any other distros to look into?
