The problem appeared to me to be that the /humans/ reverse proxy was changed from port
5000 to port 2000. The humans server has always been on port 5000. I suspect someone
accidentally changed the humans reverse proxy configuration rather than adding a new
configuration section for some other app. Something is running on port 2000, but I
don't know what it is. Whatever it is, its default behavior is to redirect to
/search.
