oops, I chopped my subject line, it should read:
*server* space or hardware allocation for sudo radio.
I don’t want dedicated physical space… except maybe in a server rack for a small machine.
My interface to chris/others would be a stereo mini port on a sound card. When I’ve heard
him DJing, he sits at the table in sudo with a laptop and a board.

I think we have all been waiting since Sudo Radio 1.0 for its eventual revival ;)
The space bit is the hard one. Chris's man-cave above the stage is extremely uncool /
unkosher. It needs to be dismantled, so I wouldn't plan to set up a booth there. Maybe
a corner elsewhere can be more easily carved. Perhaps a collaboration is possible with the
film collective?

I’d like to restore service to the sudo streaming radio. I propose to attach a bunch of
external storage to a smallish (dedicated or not) server and have a streaming radio
process on it send a 128kbps audio stream up to a cloud radio provider. Additionally, I’d
have a cut-in so that people who are actually pretty phenomenal DJs like Chris can perform
live on the stream.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
