Good ideas! I just ran the script again and added archive links.
It was never designed to update automatically because writing code for
the script to log in didn't seem worth the effort.
I plan to move
omnicommons.org to mailman 3 soon after Ubuntu 22.04
comes out so it's probably not worth the effort to hack on this very
much. Mailman 3 has built-in features that approximate this wiki page.
