I have gotten ether pad up and running.
if you add

to your hosts you can try it out.

My understanding is that Etherpad is a fairly intensive system to run,
maintain, and debug (lots of user data folks will be upset to lose).
I'd rather if we started a discussion about our capacity, what software we
need to get running, and longer-term support:

I actually had the same idea on sunday. I actually created a virtual host
on sudoroom org for etherpad, but then realized its a node app and didnt
move forward. However:
Pad.kopimism.org is up and running :-)
