That's awesome - I'd love to see the code. That should give plenty of time to make some progress before the intro to control session begins - i have misc pin headers, etc as needed. whether we go directly from the rpi to the stepper motor driver or if we go through the MSP430 we can build a nice wiring harness and enclosure.
