It turns out that sudo room suddenly has $8,600 in bitcoin!
How did this happen? I don't know!
I think we should immediately sell at least enough to pay our debt to Omni.
Any sudo members who think we shouldn't just sell every single bitcoin
right now while the price is high?

I generally agree. Here’s a couple opposing factors to ponder,
however. Cheeto and Co. chaos is pushing the price up so it may make
sense to wait. Bitcoin has a bit of a fungibility problem when it
comes to getting actual cash in return for the coin. It’s hard to do
online in my experience. If banks ever allow for that conversion I
think the price will go down considerably.

Didn't realize we were racking up debt to the omni! Let's sell half and
call the other half cheetocalypse insurance.

Agreed that we should definitely pay off our debt to the Omni asap first -
that's really the Omni's money, and we have no right to engage in bitcoin
speculation with that.
I would be in favor of selling off almost all bitcoin right away, with the
possible exception of a small amount for educational/entertainment purposes
- maybe something like $20 worth.

For some context, yesterday when we discovered our BTC treasure trove, 1
BTC was worth $2,291. It's currently at $2,505.
Sudo Room is currently behind two months on rent, with next month's due
soon for a total of $6,000 due. However, I have some cash to deposit (about
$150), we have about $1500 in the bank, and I just transferred another $100
from the PayPal.
I concur with Hol that we should sell half asap :)

that's really the Omni's money, and we have no right to engage in bitcoin
speculation with that.
