Sudoers,
Are there any of you who consider yourself an artist of a high-tech variety? I'm not exactly sure what that means, open to interpretation and learning.
Thanks,
j.

if the high school kids could come to the google 3d sketchup class???
i'd be so into showing them sneaker 3d models i downloaded...
i think a lot of oakland high school kids might be like me! they'd be into
urban vinyl toys and sneaker spures.

Youth
To promote youth involvement in all of our programming, RPSC offers youth
internships to high school aged teenagers. There are two types of
internship programs: one, High School Aged (current partnerships exist with
Metwest High school, Lighthouse Community Charter and we are open to more
High Schools), and the other, under the guidance of an RPSC member working
in the intern’s area of interest. All programs are volunteer run and would
love your support! RPSC partners with High Schools to offer 1419 year old
students student-initiated, project-driven internships. Internships run
throughout the school year. Projects have included: entrepreneurial
airbrushing business, fashion design, gallery curation, and teaching teen
fashion classes. We also reserve one month of gallery programming a year to
feature our interns art work, giving students the opportunity to have their
work shown in a gallery space that reaches over 1,000 people every month.RPSC
Hey,
Hacker and computer programmer/musician and good guy Joe Black is looking
for floorspace or rental space. He doesn't have a lot of money, and is
waiting on his next check April1st.
- He is really great and handy with electronics. He can help you secure
your workspace or home in return.
- He programs in rails, python as well
He has had some bad luck--his phone and other important items were stolen
at another open hackerspace.
If you know anyone who can help him please email him asap -

My college roommate boyfriend wrote the filter bubble so I thought if they are next on the Bay Area we could ask Eli Pariser to speak woth the sudo room folks.
Giorgio might be so fun but after a little coaching and I'm too ADHD and busy right now ;)
It'd be rad to have a round table :: the minds of sudo room!

Hi Sudoers,
Wondering if there's someone I can ask questions of re: setting up a localwiki for San Leandro. I don't have a local unix server set up yet, but I do have some interest in helping with updates. localwiki advises to look local first. Anyone please?
judi
this sort of thing interests me little as personally I come to sudo room to
be creative
if i were to showcase someone educational games company i guess i could do
it at a traditional silicon valley trade show.
But different strokes for different folks!
