heads-up about Nyle

I'm not sure what's the right list for this, if any, but... it seems that this person Nyle is at the center of a lot of conflicts lately, and is riding the edge of really unacceptable behavior. The other night when Ranette went from 0-60 it was apparently because Nyle said something unacceptable to her. I wasn't there, but I did witness an argument between Nyle and another person who had no idea what Nyle wanted to argue about. This, in context with what Niki said about Nyle in her post to the sudoroom list makes me think that people need to be aware that this person is causing problems at the space. At some point it may become necessary for this person to be asked to stay away from the Omni. thanks -jake

MY NAME IS RANETTE I AM WRITING ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND ELLIOTT TRYING TO GET ME BANNED BECAUSE IT ALL STARTED OVER A COMPUTER THAT I WAS ON AND HAD NOT LOGGED OUT AND I ASKED Y DID HE GET ON THE COMPUTER I WAS NOT LOGGED OUT HE HAD TO GET UP.. GOT MAD AT THAT . THEN HE GOT MAD CAUSE I WAS LAUGHING CAUSE HE USED THE RESTROOM AFTER ME TAKING A CRAP. HE TELLS ME I MADE A MESS ON THE FLOOR IT MADE HIM THROW UP.. THE MESS WAS THERE ALREADY NOT FROM ME.. HE HAS A ISSUE WITH WHOEVER USES THE COMPUTERS...

call for safer spaces ban on Rannette

Rannette just made a disgusting mess in the omni bathroom that made me puke and started laughing at me and when I told her to clean it up she responded "you clean it up you idiot". This is only two days after I saw her attack this guy throwing pizza and orange juice at him and rufuse to clean it up I am calling for a permanent ban on the violation of the safer spaces policy. She has been aggressive to anyone how has questioned her disrespect for the space and got in my face enough that I don't feel safe around her.

sudo room gigabit and phone!

We hacked on network infrastructure today and we now have: * Gigabit switches! * A phone hooked up to our phone line sudo room's phone number is now 510 844 0238 The phone is in the server area. The phone is also a fax, but it doesn't have paper. If someone buys paper for it then we can receive faxes if that is useful to anyone. -- marc/juul
