I was talking to Jonathan Cadle and we're working on having
accessible computers for those who dont have one/cant bring it to sudo
room. They are working on creating "communal stations", which would be
desktop computers plugged ins, with some basic linux os and ready for use
by anyone.
But we dont have keyboard / mouses enough. Posting here first to see if
anyone has spare ones. Or brainstorm where we could get donations. I'll
think/ask around and post my findings here.
I think rn we have one communal station working. It would be nice to have a
couple!

Hi Sudoroom people,
tonight in the Delegates meeting (without quorum) we checked in on this
proposal. Sudoroom people should look into delegates meeting notes and find
out about all the exciting things we talk about at these meetings.
As your delegate, it's my task to communicate the collective desire of the
sudoroom membership back to the delegates' meetings, so lets have meetings and
talk about delegates issues so that I can do that without having to make it
up on the fly.
I am also totally down to train other members to be a sudoroom delegate! It's
1-2 hours per meeting, 1st and 3rd thursdays at 7PM, online (you can attend
from anywhere you want)
regarding the proposal below, Sarah is part of Pro Arts which was operating in
Oscar Grant Plaza downtown until recently when the City raised the rent, but
since their mission is very aligned with that of Omni, Sarah has suggested
this collaboration. I think it's great.

Pro Arts would basically help promote the media lab to its community of
artists. It would definitely be collaborative, rather than taking it over!
I, personally, would be willing to contend with the removal of the "wall of
crates" in the collaborative spirit.

*This Wednesday, April 3rd is Sudo Room's April meeting from 8 to 9 PM!*
We don't have an agenda yet, but suggest whatever you want to add. Better
yet, volunteer to run the meeting or to join one of our working groups!
Otherwise, I'll send out a meeting agenda when I think of one.
Cheers,
