Addendum - surveying the ground-floor sudo area adjacent to the stairs up
the ballroom, it’s evident more receptacles are needed here than just for
the fridge..
Therefore I’m amending this to expand the number of receptacles from one
4-up box, to three boxes (twelve outlets total).
I project this would increase the cost by at most ~$200 if hiring an
electrician, so budget would be appx ~$400 total.
Lmk if there are any objections?

For my part all I’m trying to do is get sudo and the rest of omni to a
totally minimal point where it doesn’t have to worry quite as much anymore
about annual building inspections or code violations. I support bigger
renovations too - I suppose I view getting back to this core baseline as
one first step along that path.
Are there any other concerns or objections to moving forward on this
modest building improvement?

IMO this would be superior to the prior ‘50ft extension cord through

to another room’ solution that has been used in the past, which
transgresses code and therefore poses recurring headaches during annual
fire inspections.
I expect this work would take appx 2-3h at most, possibly less.
Paying an electrician to do it will I ballpark cost ~$200-$300.
As it happens we presently have an electrician this week conducting
minor repairs
around omni, so this would be an opportune time to do this
scope of work as well.
Is there by chance a sudo budget for this sort of thing? let me know if

is copacetic with sudo?
