oh wow Jake that's so cool! heh! Andrew- I didn't ask her about this yet but my friend is in town who just finished a skate clinic in Seattle. She has been really into getting women and young girls into skateboarding parks on skateboards and roller-skates (It used to be heavily male a few years ago!!!!!) it's quite mainstream for women to do skate ramps on roller-skates now instead of just roller derby https://www.skatingismedicine.com I have to ask her first though. maybe she's just tired. They also did a skate fashion show recently. I think she's going to Germany to do a Native American art and skate, she's probably tired. but the omni ballroom would be a cool venue to scope out and suggest to area roller skaters. I think especially last summer it got really big during covid and they were rollerskating a storm at lake Merritt and now Brooklyn basin!
