I want to open up a conversation on the use of the

to propose that we use wording like "Qwerty was found sleeping" (which
describes an act that Qwerty did), rather than calling them a "sleeper"
(which ascribes a quality to Qwerty). I believe that the latter creates an

I really appreciate this. I hadn't considered it, but it's a lot like
the distinction between "homeless person" and "person without a home"
or "person experiencing homelessness". More than analogous, in fact.
Thanks very much for bringing this up, Vicky.
