This was well before they were taking a hiatus, unfortunately. But if
they're not going to be open for a significant amount of time, I think it's
reasonable to just find a space and if they decide it's not functional when
they open, we can reevaluate from there.
I'm also concerned about folks using the computer if it's available, rather
than going upstairs, but I'm just really concerned about walking folks who
can't go upstairs.

Ok gotcha. We do have a handful of usb keyboards that we could set up to
stay connected to one of the netbooks. Or we could use the laptop that
Uprising has mentioned they're going to bring over.
I think that Lubuntu probably has the same accesibility features, but I'll
double check.
In the past, I've had trouble getting La Commune to get back at all about
public terminals, which is why I'm frustrated
and done trying to deal with
them.
Yeah and it does seem like they're taking a "hiatus". Perhaps we could
just move forward with what we see as a decent plan and assume that we'll
all be ok with eachother moving forwards in good faith.
The average desk/table is about the right height for a wheelchair user, so
I'm confused as to why we'd need to have
it brought down or use a standing
desk.
The only reason that Daniel and I were considering a folding down option
was to discourage folks from using it as a default instead of walking
upstairs to the terminals. It seems that people are sometimes drawn to the
closest monitor, and so they might be just immediately drawn to a computer
setup in La Commune. But just a thought.
