This idea has already been run through the omni
building group and after an
initial freakout of "omg drill a hole in the roof!?!?" people realized that
the roof has several drains in it already and that's how you remove water from
it. There are not objections from that group anymore.
This is an uncharitable summary, but true enough. I initially pushed
back on this plan, but I now accept that it's a good idea and am
grateful to Jake for the initiative and labor.
