[sudo-discuss] CAST Introduction

Hello Folks, The meeting with CAST was incredibly sweet and wholesome. They shared more about their values. We shared a number of our existing problems OMNI has had in the past, we also shared the essence of who we are, what we do, and what we believe. They appeared to be genuinely impressed and excited. We also gave them a tour of the building. While they didn’t give us much information on whether they have intention to help us with our many needs, I believe they see hard work that has gone into the OMNI, the positive outcomes it has delivered in the past, as well as the potential it has for great things in the future. The next meeting is on May 1 (6:30-8PM) to discuss representation and experience for QTBIPOC Collective Members. If you are QTBIPOC and would like to attend please reach out.
