Some feedback from Eric on the equipment:
- Do you have any details on that Hitachi
Spectrometer? The wavelength?
Model number on the box?
I have no idea the story on this as of writing this I do
not have a model
or wavelength.
- Any idea what is wrong with the GC or the HPLC?
No clue if they work.
- Any idea what's wrong with the heat blocks?
The heat blocks are duplicates just with frayed cords.

wavelength range from like 180nm-1000nm so some should

if they haven't before it is tossed.
The old HPLC is dead there is something wrong with the pumps I just could
not fix. The new HPLC I have not had a chance to look at yet. Has anyone
had
a chance to look at it yet?
Sounds like Eric is planning to look into the spec some more, so it may or
may not be available after all...

Here are the photos of the equipment that must go, photos below. Red
needs repair green works. Green we are going to sell, red we are going
to Recycle.along with the hoods. I will run this to the recycling on April
12th. All of these will be removed on the 12th. Duane I know you feel
passionally about the shaking incubator but unless it is repaired it cannot
stay no exceptions on this one. sorry.
Centrifuge (In working order but works stops randomly)
Shaking incubator (Needs repair)
Shaking water bath (Heating element dangerous)
Apple computer (Needs repair)
Hitachi Spectrometer (Needs repair)
Gas chronograph (Needs repair)
HPLC (the recent acquisition and the old HPLC) (Needs repair)
Tecan Spectrometer (Not working) (No Photo)
1970's balence Functional maybe but have not checked
NEW -20 Needs a good home works but as is has a defrost cycle (Blows
every 20 amp fuse in our building If we want to use it we need a higher amp
breaker)
Deconstructed machines in office
Laser from Q-PCR machine (looks Functional but cannot tell powers up but
need on/off control signals from computer)
2 printers (Non-functional)
A couple of non-functional heat blocks.
