Re: [sudo-discuss] Proposal: Forgive 50% of Omni rent debt from April - Oct

Proposal to Omni Commons for sudo room consensus: Sudo Room is requesting a retroactive 50% reduction in rent for the months of April-October (Pledge #s 2052, 2062, 2071, 2086, 2185, and 2195). This is a six-month reduction in rent. Attached are sudo room's financial reports from 2018 - 2020-to-date, reflecting ongoing inability to match income to expenses (our only expenses being Omni rent and our web hosting services). Sudo Room's donation from Sudo Mesh in 2018 of $10K was predicted to create the necessary buffer for lack of sufficient income through until mid-2020, and this prediction has unfortunately been correct. We will be working actively to increase our income and report-back to the Delegate's and Finance WG in October 2020.
