I understand the urgency of this project being that the date for
registering licenses ends in two weeks. Is that correct?
Yes, Nov 14.
If so, what needs to be done between now & Nov. 14 -
On my todo list is to send a detailed msg about this,
to make it a simple process/plan for SR, & all USA hackerspaces, to
accomplish this
quickly & completely,
to make a successful fCC applicatin.
:)
I hope to have that info posted to this sr lst in a few
days.
:)
how many hours do
you estimate it will take and
~2 hours online to fill out the FCC transmitter application forms, once
you have the necessary data available.
Most of the data is pro forma stuff about sr leaders & facilities, &
programs.
The biggest activity needing completion before submitting the ap is a
transmitter site tentatively approved plan.
More about that later, from me.
how many people will need to get involved
for us to reasonably get it done?
One or two leaders, & maybe a few helpers.
Good news:
A SR member attended the Alameda ham mtg last friday, and made at least
one contact.
Progress for technical help!

I'll forward a few messages for you to read for further info, right now.
