[sudo-discuss] Temescal BID Proposal re: Kasper's parcel becoming a pedestrian plaza

Hi friends & comrades: Writing here to inform folks that the Temescal Business Improvement District is currently conducting a campaign to transform the parcel where the former Kasper's Hot Dogs stand is located into a public plaza, cutting off the connection from Shattuck through to 47th St and Telegraph. They are having open meetings re: the proposal on April 3rd, April 18th, and a third date still TBD. I think it's important that longstanding and potentially-impacted communities show up and represent!
