Patrick,
This messages is between you and myself, for the moment.
I say we have all the resources at OMNI for building industrial security
capable of earning Yar's trust.
The following is cut from a friend and collaborator's CV.

I try hard to avoid bragging, until it might be useful. RENIEC is an
acronym for a government agency in Peru. Any adult Peruvian with a
National ID card knows what it stands for.
Let's start collecting requirements for OMNI internal secure storage,
both physical and digital.
By all means, it is to early to trust claims contained here-i.
Today I'm short on time, but will have more time Sunday evening and hope
to stop by then.

Back at the old sudo location, there were a few
muggings right outside
the
door. I remember there was some discussion at that time about under what
conditions a security camera might be acceptable. E.g. using strong
encryption, auto-erasing after some expiration date, and requiring
multiple
keys to unlock the recordings.
Would those kinds of safeguards satisfy your concerns around video
surveillance?
It would take some work to get me to trust a scheme like this... and
it would create social pressure to accept whatever results...
Did Sudo ever wind up installing a security
camera at the
front door in the old location?
The landlord had a video surveillance system, so it was moot.
PS: are there any particular security needs that
La Commune needs help
with
ASAP?
Yes, securing their books after-hours.
