Omni folks are well aware of the tax thing. We are a nonprofit, and
we've had a tax exemption application pending with the county for
years. They are notoriously slow. It is an ongoing discussion which
happens at almost every finance/fundraising meeting.

There is still time to apply for a payment plan to avoid tax foreclosure. But instead of
$40K/year taxes would be increased to $60K/year to pay off back taxes. According to the
Alameda county tax collector it is still possible to apply for a waiver of penalties for
2020 taxes but the deadline to apply is May 6 2021.
