Hi Lucas! Welcome to sudoroom!
we are definitely behind on improving the wiki pages describing the onboarding
process! We have been relying on meeting people who come to the space (as well
as those who contact us online, thank you!) and checking in to see if people
want to become members and get involved.
I always tell people that they can come to the space anytime we're having an
open event, like Hardware Hacking Tuesdays or JavaScript Thursdays, or if
anyone is present on a Wednesday night during the meeting, or anytime members
are present to hold the space open.
I also tell people that anyone can start donating at any time, and it's
encouraged! You can sign up for an automatic monthly donation using Stripe
through our Sudo Humans system:
https://sudoroom.org/humans
I can't wait for you to get to know us so you can start helping update the
wiki!
did you know you can read back in this email list and see what we've been
talking about for years?
https://sudoroom.org/lists/hyperkitty/list/sudo-discuss@sudoroom.org/
will you be at JavaScript Thursdays tomorrow night?
Will you join the sudoroom meeting and say hi tonight? I think it's at 8PM and
will be at

oh yeah, here's the email reminding us about the meeting tonight:

nice meeting you!

Hello hello.
The FAQ (

suggests I introduce myself, so, yeah, hello!

I was going to put a few dollars in, but the instructions on how to do that
rely on Gratipay, which is long gone. Is there an alternative method these
days?
