I started editing the section "Stay
safe<https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Oakland#Stay_safe>"
(before/after
comparison<https://en.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?title=Oakland&diff=…)d=2459600>),
which I thought gave a scrubbed and possibly outsider's perspective. It's
still problematic and needs more "unofficial" resources--I just needed to
update it stat! Please edit as you see fit!

I had edited the Wikivoyage article on Oakland when Wikivoyage first
relaunched in January 2013. I'd be happy to answer any Wikivoyage questions
for any OaklandWikians.
