Got this advice from the CEO of Sonic. I'm inclined to do this at least as
one of our trunks.
Okay, here's the scoop:
They are really, really, really close to the central office there.
This means they should get crazy fast service.
But we have an upgrade in the works, some months away, that'll make it
even faster. I'd hoped we could prioritize this CO and get it rolled
out there in time for their opening, but we just can't make that
happen due to workload.
So here's my suggestion:
Have them order plain old single line Fusion service, which is about
$58/mo. It'll deliver around 24Mbps/1.5Mbps, and be an adequate
solution for the short term.
Then, when we get the new VDSL2 cards deployed in that CO, have them
order a dual-line service. It'll deliver a bit over 100Mbps/20Mbps at
that location, and cost about $125/mo.
This is the most cost-effective path to their goal outcome.

Didn't sudoroom have an account with them at one point? Maybe we can just
transfer that?

You should have a view from the disco roof. You
can glimpse a view of the
Berkeley Hills on Google Street View, if you take one step into 48th
Street, and then look NE across the intersection with Shattuck.
There's a six-story building kitty-corner with the Omni on the
intersection of 48th and Shattuck - that seems to be the main obstacle.

If so, we could get Wireless internet from LMI.

We have the cheapest residential service and pretty happy with it, but
it can get expensive if we go with the Business services.

doers,
Is there a reason not to cancel the internet for July 1st? As I'm
backing the bill on my credit card, it would be nice to have to pay the
month.
