50th Anniversary of the March on Washington
On Wednesday, August 28 2013, citizens from across the country will converge upon our
nation’s capital to commemorate and celebrate the historic March On Washington which
occurred 50 years ago on August 28, 1963.
Join our collective of partnering orgs at The New Parkway Theater this Wednesday at 630PM
for a special limited screening of this historic newly remastered treasure, considered to
be the "most important documentary ever made."

This limited viewing of the three hour remastered version of the 1970 Academy Award
nominee for Best Documentary follows Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from 1955 to 1968, in his
rise from regional activist to world-renowned leader of the Civil Rights movement.
