Hey there!
Inés Chapela here with a problem regarding mailing list managing..I work
for the Greenhorns (check us out: www.thegreenhorns.net)
Anyway, we're trying to send out an e-blast to promote our latest project,
Up UP Farm Film Festival, which is a series of indie films and shorts that
explore the questions facing the new farmers movement.
We primarily use mailchimp for this type of thing and for some reason they
are saying we have "stale" emails and are threatening to delete our e list
unless we hire a third party company to clean up our list.
I'd love to just leave mailchimp and get another mailing list company that
doesn't cause so much trouble...Anybody have advice for a good route to
take here?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hey Whitney, I just noticed that some folks replied to this thread
without emailing you directly. Folks, Whitney is not subscribed to the
mailing list anymore!
April posted this scheduling poll to pick the best day of the week:
https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/sudofivezero1c3/
Matt forwarded a note from the state that we need to fill out Form
3500 to avoid paying 2013 taxes.
Yar,
I am still willing to bottom line the 501c application. I have not made any
progress since my august communication requesting information. My goal to
have the package finalized by the end of this month is no longer reasonable
because I have not made any progress since august. Without the required
information I can not help. I suggest we form a small group of people that
have historical working knowledge of Sudo as well as access to financial
and tax documentation. After the delegates are identified we should meet to
address scope and define roles.
Regrettably, I don't have the time to join in the weekly meetings. I can
however, make time for a twice a month focus meeting to address 501c
documentation and progress.
Finally, please include me in future communications on *this *subject by
attaching me directly to the email. I will be unsubscribing from the
"discuss" & "omni building" email lists because it is taking too much of my
time to review.
Thank you,
Whitney E. Lawrence III, P.E.

the pair programming station now has KiCAD, the free and open-source
software circuitboard CAD progam, installed on it.
juul and I will be designing the circuitboard for the vending machines
(hack-o-mat on the wiki) soon, and if you're interested in this we can
make it a date so more people can see how it's done.
since it's a pair programming station with two monitors, at least twice as
many people can watch, and at least two people can take turns making the
board.

Hello friends,
I walked one of the organizers for the Naomi Klein event through the space
on Monday and she told me that they were trying to cap the number of
attendees and ensure that the group represented a diverse range of voices
from different communities.
As such, despite the information I was previously given by another
organizer, she said that only 3 people max from the Omni can attend.
I'm very sorry - this was a miscommunication between parties on their end,
not ours.
Right now, 10 Omni members have asked to attend. Are there people who are
rescind their request for a spot? I think the only fair way to decide who
can go may be to draw names.
Any thoughts?
Niki
