Hi everyone,
The potential sudoroom lawyer Kyle (awesome person) has drafted an
engagement letter to get us started with becoming a 501c3.
Here it is: https://github.com/sudoroom/lawyer-engagement-letter
I think it looks solid, but if anyone has any concerns, please let me
know. I do not think that I'll make tomorrow's meeting, but if there are
concerns, let me know and I'll communicate those.
I have a meeting with Kyle this Friday with Julio.

Hey all,
Lost my hackpack working on the front door to omni last night. Much appreciated if anyone can find or return it.

There's an electrical cord that has been hanging out of the window by the
front door.
I think it's okay to let community members use electricity while they are
here, but we need to communicate that cords should be brought back in when
they're finished using them.
I'm not sure who talked to the gentleman who is charging his motorbike - he
said it was brought up at Sudo room - but I asked him not to leave the cord
out there and if that message could be reinforced that would be great!

Good idea M^6 , and Einstein & I will start dropping trou, but I find I
_can_ actually can get almost of all my Goldwater in the receptacle
despite my underwhelming endowment, but only if I kneel in someone
else's splatter. Luckily, I always wear shorts, so its easy to wipe off
my knees. My pal David Rovics wrote a song apropos of this issue, Stand
Up For Your Rights But Sit Down To Piss:

BTW, what's the story on the urinals in the head in the hallway to the
sudoroom? One of them was operational, but I notice they are all
cordoned off now. Do we need funds to fix them or are they destined for
the knackers?

Tom's data indicates that neither cis men and cis women can be fully
trusted to keep toilets clean. The solution is clear: only trans and
genderqueer people should be allowed to pee at the Omni.
Please excuse the unusual nature of this email and take me seriously for a
moment.
I have started the practice of sitting down to pee at the Omni, which is
not something I do anywhere else in my life. Before I continue, you may
well be wondering if I am assuming that my readership are the owners of
"hoses" as Arnas called them . "No" is the answer, but of course if you
already urinate while sitting then perhaps this call to action is less
germane.
Here is my reasoning:
1. I Care about bathroom cleanliness at the Omni.
2. After close inspection, and many trials, even with the utmost care I
cannot urinate standing up in a way that gets all my urine securely in the
bowl without splashing a very small amount.
3. In my experiments peeing sitting down is almost fail-safe at getting all
my urine in the toilet bowl.
4. I have the option to sit down to pee.
Since there are two options, and one is superior from a cleanliness point
of view - albeit slightly more labour intensive - and since cleaning will
be done in solidarity by one of our members; I therefore am pledging to sit
down to pee at the Omni.
I hope you will take this position with me, if you can, to build a cleaner
Omni.
Make a great day,

Hi. I'm working on SudoKit <https://sudoroom.org/wiki/SudoKit> .
- the goal is to make a physical artistic "learn how to use sudoroom" kit
that uses the internet, digital phones & tablets as much as possible +
encourages folks to use the sudroom
It's basically a series of boxes with paper placemats inside. each placemat
represents a project
I want to put out periodic Maps like this one that are fun. here's a very
rough draft
*- does one already exist? has someone worked on it*
- i want these to be playful - there should be an adventure every time
someone visits
- hopefully solves the problem of being overwhelmed... encourages
exploration

Noemy,
Yes LEDs! They should be in every room, somewhere. For safety, at least!
Motion sensors, auto timers, the whole gamoot!
I'm not any of expert at lighting, really, but I'm open to helping figure
it out. I at least have ideas of where key safety lights oughta go, and
what features are best fir each room. I'd love to see if we could set them
up on the network and task them!
Connor,
Both! We have, I think, two or three mate plants in CCL right now, and they
need a better setup. If we are able to smarthouse then, why shouldn't we?
I've never worked with rasp-pi, but I'm still young, and my brain's still
mostly made of rubber... so why not take a crack now.
