Hello everyone,
This is my first time writing to this list. I am fairly new to Java
programming, but eager to learn more. My interest was piqued by the
Minecraft modding community and I have started to code Java mods for
Minecraft myself at this point. The thing is I would really love to learn
more Java at this point so was wondering if there were any Java projects
people were working on or anyone willing to help me build my skills. Thanks
for your time!

I have created a wiki page for references and testimonials for
circuitboard fabrication companies, as well as assembly services.

please add any information you have on these vendors so that others can
skip the learning curve and start making boards.

Email lists are terrible for resolving anything. Much of the conversation had on this thread was already covered in person yesterday, so Johnny's accusation that the individuals present at last week's sudo meeting haven't "even spoke up" is false.
Some facts:
* This is not a housing conflict, this is an alleged assault/abuse incident.
* There is a restraining order against Johnny obtained by Leslie.
* When faced with being served with that order, Johnny fled the scene (yesterday at sudo).
* Previous mediation for a different incident failed in the eyes of at least one party.
* Legal recourse was sought by both parties: Johnny evicted Leslie, Leslie obtained a restraining order against Johnny. As with many conflicts, these legal actions appear to be regarding different issues.
Undeniable power dynamics that affect the situation:
* Johnny identifies as male, Leslie as female
* Johnny was the landlord, Leslie the tenant
Current status:
* Leslie has agreed to mediation.
* Johnny agreed to mediation in person yesterday to me, but has subsequently backed out of this agreement.
As we are having a sudo get together tonight, I propose we discuss this in person. Sudo members who think it is important to have a space that is both just and safe for all, drop by and we can pursue this further.
Johnny, I prefer real human interaction to process, which why I thought we had made some progress yesterday (before you fled anyway). Based on the content of your last email, and in particular your line "may the OMNI become the ONLY space she feels safe", I ask that you not be present tonight.
I do hope that you change your mind and agree to mediation. I would volunteer if necessary. I genuinely empathize with your feeling of being oppressed by legal and other systems. This situation obviously has multiple facets and we are all faced with the human condition of bringing our past pain to every new interaction. I wish you the luck to find your best possible self.

Hi Johnny,
Is it true that Lesley's has a temporary restraining order against you?
That seems to rise above mere "gossip and accusations", and seems like it
would be substantial enough to trigger at least a temporary ban.
Also, it's the nature of interpersonal conflicts that there may not be any
more than "accusations" available to make a decision on. So if someone
states that they feel unsafe around another person, it may be justified to
remove that other person from the space at least temporarily, until a
better informed decision can be reached.

that link says if "someone's safety is at risk, a temporary ban may be
placed". it says nothing about how, and obviously is meant to deal with
clear present safety issues, not gossip and accusations.
abusing that vague apparatus of the super-system to ban people on mere
claims is totally fascist and supremacist behavior.
defending it is also fascist.
calling out for the record that Marc, Matt, Cere, Sigma, Jeremy are
fascists for consent to abuse system and unjustly override process without
sudo quorum; ya'll better not step on any cracks!

apparently at the meeting last week, Johnny was banned for Safe-Space
reasons, but nobody informed him about this.
Earlier tonight, he asked if I would be at sudoroom tonight and i said
yes, and so he brought his project to work on, but he was stopped at the
door by someone who knew about the ban. He asked for me and I spent the
next hour trying to sort through the mediation process and the
complexities of this particular situation.
In the future, when people are banned at a meeting it's important that
someone makes an effort to contact someone who is being banned to let them
know, and to inform them of how to participate in the mediation process.
To do otherwise discredits our important conflict resolution process and
disregards the basic rights of the accused. In this case Johnny can be
easily reached by email, and is included in this message.
Johnny expressed a desire to participate in mediation as soon as possible,
since he is banned from the space until its conclusion. He is also
dealing with eviction from his home right now so this is frustrating for
him, especially since he only found out about it after arriving at Omni to
work on a project.
is anyone stepping up to be a conflict steward and/or neutral mediator?
thanks

I'm looking for someone with experience setting up, migrating and keeping
Debian-based servers running. Mainly a basic LAMP stack with a mediawiki
instance with lots of users and content.
Skills: Keeping productions servers secured and running. Ability to write
scripts that analyze and migrate SQL databases. Should have basic knowledge
of reverse proxies, node.js processes, process monitoring, server
monitoring and postfix.
This would be a part time contract gig.
Email me for more info if you're interested.

adds up.
I could transfer it if someone else would like to continue paying for it.
