Hello Mike, not sure if you have been contacted regarding your application,
but I am forwarding to our main discussion email.
I hope someone would reply to you soon! And if you hear or not from anyone,
I highly recommend that you stop by Sudoroom and introduce yourself, and
start hanging there to know folks, and for folks to get to know as well.
Thanks!

Hello Barrett,
(I am not sure if this email is spam or legit. I hope is the second one.)
I don't know about how you can get funds for your book, and I am not sure
if members of Sudoroom can help you either, since that is not necessarily
in our mission.
However, I am forwarding your email to our main discuss list, and if you
would like to provide more information on a second email, please do, so I
can forward that one as well.
Good luck!

Why do you want to be a member of sudo room?: Too much time on my hands?
I'm a geek recently returned to coding and obsessed with machine learning
and distributed systems. Also, a van dweller inhabiting a 160 ft^2 box
truck that sat in a field for 20 years sinking into the ground before I got
it - access to tools now and again during renovation and rehabilitation
might be important :-)
If you know already, what are you excited to do at sudo room?: A few
hardware projects that must wait until I can fund them, in the meantime, my
current primary obsession is machine learning and some ideas for
distributing training across a p2p environment with a shared parameter
space.
If you know already, what are you excited to share with the sudo room
community?: What spotty skills I have to offer, I'm a rusty lapsed C guy
recently turned to Python+Theano+Lasagne. I'm pretty excited about IPFS
(Interplanetary Filesystem) at the moment. Beyond that, I'm good with a
broom and mop, so there's that.
Have you ever been banned from another hackerspace? If so, when and why?: No

Hi,
I applied to be a member over a month ago. Two weeks ago, I gave my credit
card info and began an automatic monthly payment for membership. I believe
I am a full member by now, but the sudoroom/humans page still shows me as a
comrade. Am I a member? Can I have the access code to get into the building?
Thanks,

Subject: [sudo-info] visit
To: info(a)sudoroom.org
Hi there
I would like to have a phone chat with someone there if possible, regarding
a possible visit of a few students who are doing a project on smart cities.
These students are really curious, scholarship students from many different
countries.. 10 students in total, who would like to learn a little about
what you do at the Sudo room. We would be able to compensate a guide for
their time if this was possible.
Thanks for considering!
Best
Guillermo

Does anyone have a truck I can borrow for an hour or two this afternoon?
Need to remove a bit more concrete debris and dirt from the Phat Beets
room, left over from our plumbing work for CCL.
Can repay you with two bags of unused concrete mix, if inetersted...
Thanks!
Patrik
Interesting opportunity to write about experiences at sudo and ccl.
There's an ironic bit somewhere in all of this about needing a masters of
PhD in order to be a first author for some publication types but I haven't
looked at the details in depth.
