Does anybody know if we still have that digital duplicator in the
basement? I can check for myself in a few days but it would help to
know sooner than that. Thanks.
The following proposal came up at the last delegates meeting, in short:
ABDC - "would like to expand our operation to include both the ticket
booth, and half of the front hall. We will continue to pay $400 for the
ticket booth room and would like to pay another $400 for the front hall for
a total of $800 a month. We would like to begin build-out of the space from
May 1 through June 1 rent free so we can focus funds on the cost of
execution."
the whole proposal

Hey noffle, marc, saito group, counter culture labs folks... lots of
y'alls. I had so much fun at the five minutes of fame!
I was thinking of doing a 5 minutes interview comic and posting it on our
blog. I would love to chat with someone you. Is anyone up for it?

a fire extinguisher was discharged in the basement this evening around 6pm.
the boys from down the street were in the ballroom with the women making
banners & i told the boys to leave.
the women making banners thought that i should have found a better solution
that kicking them out.
the front door was propped open & nobody was watching it.
I have two domains that are expiring and watned to check in anyone wants
them before I let them go.
* unop.press
* unsup.press
You'd have to pay the .press domain renewal fee.

Sean/Shaun Fantahun (unsure of first name spelling) was banned yesterday
from sudo room (and thus Omni) for attempting to hit a member who told him
nicely that he has to come to a sudo room meeting to discuss his recent
problematic behavior.
He has not yet been consensus-banned but I'm sure that will happen at the
next sudo room or Omni meeting.

i'm so glad you're into synthesizers! when i first started hosting Hardware
Hacking Tuesdays I was trying to put together some kit designs for a sudosynth,
using parts we had tons of just laying around.
here's a video of a prototype that plays tunes with input from an old ROM:

this might be a version of it that hasn't been finished:

i'll be out of town for a couple of weeks but you should come to HHT every week
and maybe we can make a synth board that people can build.

hi y'all, you may have seen me around the space this past week.
It's a cool place! As there is a small snafu on the membership form, I'm declaring my intent to join here:
I'm Corey (he/him) &&
I want to be a member because I value and want to support a space that is open, inclusive, and gives people the tools to make cool things! &&
I'm wanting to get into synthesizer design and other DIY electronics, I have a decent background in EE but just picked up my first synth at the awesome swap meet a few weeks back. Would also like to get involved with projects that deal with transparency, collaboration, or education &&
I earn my living writing javascripts and css, happy to pass on those skills to those willing to learn. Also hope to contribute to projects in need of front end development &&
I have not had troubles at other hackerspaces :-)
